No CommentsA published study by a Cleveland Clinic found cell phone radiation lowers sperm counts and causes abnormalities in sperm shape and mobility. The study compared semen samples from the same men and subjected one sample to cell phone radiation for an hour to determine if abnormalities are caused solely by radiation exposure.

This is another reminder that men should avoid putting their phones and Bluetooth devices inside their pants pockets when the phone is on, as the heat from the radiation may heat the testes and disturb semen production. You can read the report here: Study links cellphones and lowered sperm count. Also see the preliminary findings of the same study reported a year and a half ago.
This is not the first study that looked at this issue. Hungarian researchers four years ago also made similar findings: Men and Mobiles: Calls to Take Caution.
